MS Marketing Agency

Everything a property needs. Nothing it does not.

Seven disciplines, one studio. The people who read the market are the same people who light the room.

A guest’s journey

Choose a moment to see which disciplines act there.

01

Strategy & Positioning

Before anything is published, a season of reading. Who books the property today, at what rate, and from where. Which four or five houses a guest weighs it against before choosing. What the front desk hears at eleven at night. Only then do we write the positioning — one sentence the whole property can stand behind, and a plan for the year that is as clear about what to leave alone as about what to change.

In Almadinah that plan is built around the pilgrimage calendar rather than a financial quarter. A property here is judged in seasons, by families who arrive with expectations formed long before they land.

Deliverables
  • Market and competitor study
  • Guest and channel audit
  • Positioning statement
  • Message framework
  • Plan for the year
02

Photography & Film

A hotel is chosen on a screen months before anyone walks through the door. We shoot rooms, food, spa and the public areas on a call sheet built with the operations team, so that a suite is photographed while it is out of service and a restaurant while the light is worth having. We use the property’s own people wherever we can. A real host looks like one.

Film is treated the same way. Short, quiet, cut to be understood with the sound off. Everything is delivered in the crops each platform wants, and at a size that will still hold when someone decides to print it.

Deliverables
  • Rooms and suites
  • Food and beverage
  • Spa, pool and public areas
  • Short film and reels
  • Retouching and platform crops

03

Social & Community

The daily work. A calendar drawn a month ahead and edited every week. Copy written twice — Arabic first where Arabic matters, English second, neither one a translation of the other. Publishing at the hours the audience is actually awake rather than the hours that suit the studio.

Then the part nobody photographs: the comments, the direct message about a late checkout, the guest who is unhappy in public. An account is a front desk. It is judged on how it replies, and it is the cheapest reputation a hotel owns.

Deliverables
  • Monthly content calendar
  • Arabic and English copy
  • Publishing and scheduling
  • Community management
  • Monthly reporting
04

Campaigns & Media

Ramadan and Eid. The school holidays. A new floor opening, a restaurant nobody has found yet, a Tuesday in August with rooms to fill. We build the idea, produce what it needs, then plan and buy the media behind it — paid social and search, and the print and outdoor that still works in this city.

Budgets are set against room nights and covers, not impressions. When a campaign closes we say what moved and what did not, which is the only way the next one gets better.

Deliverables
  • Campaign concept and assets
  • Media plan and buying
  • Flyers and e‑mail banners
  • Paid social and search
  • Closing report

Websites & Digital

A hotel’s website is the one place a guest can compare, decide and enquire without anyone else’s design in the way. We design and build custom websites that bring a brand to life, pairing creative design with seamless functionality, so the page a guest reaches on a phone at midnight says what the front desk would say in person.

Around the website sit the smaller digital pieces: the landing page for an offer, the e‑mail banner that announces it, the online brochure a sales team sends. Recent websites include Fanaya Hotels and SERB Group.

Deliverables
  • Custom hotel and restaurant websites
  • Landing and offer pages
  • E‑mail banners and newsletters
  • Online brochures

06

Brand & Print

An identity for a restaurant opening inside an existing hotel. A menu that survives a full service. The in-room directory, the door hanger, the invitation, the folder handed over at reception — the pieces a guest still holds in their hands, and the ones most likely to be left to whoever is free that week. The same goes for the sales kit and fact file a corporate buyer takes away.

We design them, specify the stock and the finish, and stay with the file until it comes off the press correctly. A beautiful PDF and a badly printed menu are not the same object.

Deliverables
  • Identity and guidelines
  • Sales kits and fact files
  • Menus and collateral
  • Signage and in-room print
  • Packaging and gifting
  • Press-ready artwork

Consultancy

Some properties already have the team. What they want is an outside reading: a second opinion on a rebrand, an honest look at why the direct channel keeps losing to the booking sites, a morning with the marketing and revenue people in one room and nobody defending last year.

We work by the month or by the question. Often the most useful thing we do is tell a client that the work they were about to commission is not the work they need.

Deliverables
  • Market and brand audit
  • In-house team review
  • Workshops and training
  • Retained advisory
  • Supplier and agency selection
How we work

Four steps, in that order.

01

Listen

We start inside the property, not inside a deck. A walk-through, an hour with the general manager, an hour with the people at the desk. Most of what a hotel needs to say is already being said by its own staff.

02

Plan

One document. What we are trying to move, for whom, in what order, and what we will not do this year. Short enough to be read by everyone who has to act on it.

03

Make

Shoots, edits, copy, artwork, media. Work is reviewed with the property before it goes out, and it goes out on a calendar the team can see a month ahead.

04

Measure

Room nights, covers, direct bookings, the questions arriving in the inbox. We report every month in plain language, including the months that did not work.
